Kelly Ann Rinaldi

Kelly Ann Rinaldi, Pre-arranged Funerals, Neil Regan Funeral Home, Scranton, PA

Kelly Ann Rinaldi, 53, of Mount Cobb, died Thursday, April 30, in a tragic car accident. She is survived by her husband, Michael Rinaldi, and together they enjoyed 33 fun filled years of marriage. Born in Minooka, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Ann Hart.

Work was an important part of Kelly's life, with many of her days spent at CMC hospital where she met many important people in her life and developed friendships that will never be forgotten.

Kelly's true passion was time with friends and family and attending as many functions as she could pack into her days. She enjoyed watching sporting events, working outside and spending time with her family. With Marissa she enjoyed watching “Law and Order SVU,” thrifting, taking walks and cuddling on the couch. With Kyle she longed for trips to Penn State to tailgate and help with his first home. She also loved laying by her pool, watching TV with a bag of peanut butter M&M's, bragging about her kids, and attending and hosting parties. Kelly was happiest enjoying the outdoors, whether it was caring for her lawn or her many trips to Florida to soak up the sunshine. She also had a passion for all things Irish and the Dallas Cowboys. She was always giving or doing for others and had a heart of gold that will be remembered forever.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Kyle and Marissa Rinaldi; two brothers, Donald and James Hart; and three sisters, Rosanne Krisanda, Denise Nails and Linda Theil. She was awaiting the arrival of her first Grandchild, Dylan Kelly Rinaldi, soon to be son of Kyle and Arianna Rinaldi.

A private funeral was held at Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., Scranton, PA 18505, followed by interment at St. Catherine's Cemetery and a graveside service celebrated by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Tudgay, J.C.L. Pallbearers were: Kyle Rinaldi, Donald Hart, Jimmy Hart, Jason Theil, Kevin McHale, Mark Rinaldi, Mike DeStefano and Carl Scartelli.
