Karen Kelly Needham, Scranton, died Wednesday December 6th at Hospice of The Sacred Heart after a brave battle with cancer. Born March 29th 29154, Karen was a daughter of the late Paul E. Kelly and Barbara Moran Kelly, of Scranton.
Karen was a loving and devoted mother to her only son, Quinn Patrick Needham. Her time and attentive care was deeply admired by her mother, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends she leaves behind. Those who knew Karen best would agree the best word to describe her was an adjective she often used herself, "spectacular".
Services were held in private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ARC of Northeastern Pennsylvania, 115 Meadow Ave, Scranton, PA 18505, or the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 in Karen's name.
