Ann Kulick, 84, of Dunmore, passed away peacefully Tuesday July 28 at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Scranton. Her husband of 52 years, the late Walter Kulick Sr., died in 2019.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Fezuk Juice. Prior to her retirement, Ann worked for Haddon Craftsman for many years.
Ann's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, hosting holiday and family gatherings, and creating lasting memories around her table. She had a love for baking and cooking that passed through generations. Ann will be remembered for always helping whoever she could, and always leaving her door open in her home for anyone who needed her. One of Ann's lasting legacies was the belief "Never judge a book by its cover."
Her greatest happiness was spending time with her great-grandchildren and her beloved dogs.
Ann is survived by a son, Walter Kulick-Armitage and husband, Kevin, Duryea; a daughter, Beth Kulick, Green Ridge; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Michael Robert and John Joseph Kulick; two daughters, Deborah Ogden and Dyann Raymer; and two grandchildren, Casandra and Xavier.
Ann's family would like to thank the staff of Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab for the compassion and care Ann received.
A blessing service will be Friday, July 31, at 9 a.m. at the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home, 1900 Pittston Ave. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon. Interment at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Ann's memory to be made to SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E Main St, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania 18702 (or at spcaluzernecounty.org) or Friends of the Poor at fotpcmc.org.
